Developing strategic partnerships and fundraising do not mean simply asking for financial assistance. We know that Australians and our local community are extraordinarily generous, but equally, there are many other worthy causes competing for any assistance they can get. Our goal is to work with the community at all levels and to develop mutually advantageous partnerships, which will provide better outcomes for people with disabilities. This means pooling and coordinating our skills, resources and infrastructure capacity and contributing in kind as opposed to just a dollar contribution.
The challenges are constantly before us and we will be asking the community to partner us, so that we can again provide the best possible services to people with disabilities within a sound financial and cost effective framework.
