Hennessy Street
The people living at Hennessey St have been together since the house opened in September 2000.
Everyone enjoys engaging in the everyday running of Hennessy St by sharing different tasks within the house such as the cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping as well as their personal chores.
Everyone is supported and encouraged to pursue their own preferences within their local community. Some of the people enjoy accessing the library, swimming pool and gym, while others love restaurants and cafes in the local area. They love a good BBQ and to get out and about to the movies and theatre at the cultural centre.
The residents are supported by staff members to seek out resources enthusiastically, including information about holidays of their choosing and enjoy support and regular contact from their families and significant others.
