Job Coach - Disability Services

We currently have an exciting new opportunity in our Logistics Division for a full time Job Coach!

You will be working with individual supported employees in a 1:4 ratio to help them achieve their goals within an employment and warehouse setting.

Key to this role will be finding innovative ways to build independence in work activities and create learning opportunities to enable meaningful contribution in the workplace.

Disability Support Worker with a Gardening Twist!

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Grassbusters division for a Support Coach, currently based in Pakenham.

Grassbusters is a garden maintenance and training program for adults with disabilities who are interested in learning horticulture/gardening and work skills. From basic gardening skills to Certificate II level this group works on small to medium garden projects and learns new skills, works as a team and connects with their community.

We are looking for an individual who can support and coach people with different abilities the skills required to work in the garden care industry.

This is a full time position and you will have a different crew, of approximately 4-5 people each day, all with different abilities and a desire to learn new skills.

If you’re proactive, have a calm and flexible approach, have a passion for gardening and horticulture and are keen to share your expertise and support people with disabilities reach their goals, we would love to hear from you!

People, Culture & Volunteer Coordinator

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a part-time (four days a week) People, Culture & Volunteer Coordinator to join our team! This role will be based in Keysborough but will require frequent travel to other regions within the South East including Frankston and Pakenham regions.

Reporting to the HR Lead, you will play an integral role in the HR team, with a focus on recruitment, employee engagement and volunteer coordination. We’re looking for someone passionate about this space, with an innovative approach, exceptional communication and customer service skills who is ready to hit the ground running!

Education Coordinator

We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a fulltime Education Coordinator to join the Service Delivery team!

Reporting to the Education Manager, you’ll be playing a key role in supporting the Education Team and making Wallara the leading disability educator in Victoria.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, delivering and driving innovative and creative client educational programs
  • Creating and delivering Wallara’s educational resources
  • Assisting the Education Manager in connecting into the community and Wallara’s partners to find and leverage new opportunities for clients to explore, grow and work
  • Administration support to ensure high quality client programs within the education function across Wallara
  • And much more!

Rostering Coordinator

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a part time Rostering Coordinator. This role is Wednesday to Friday 6.30am to 4pm as well as on call work on Saturdays.

Reporting to the Operations Manager (Community), you will be joining a passionate and dynamic team and be responsible for supporting Service Delivery to undertake effective rostering to backfill vacant shifts as well as overseeing the Wallara Locum Staff in conjunction with our current Rostering Coordinator.

Disability Support Workers - Residential & Day Services

We currently have multiple fantastic opportunities in our Live (residential) and Day Services divisions for casual Support Coaches, working in houses and at sites across Pakenham, Narre Warren, Frankston and Dandenong.

You will be joining dynamic, self empowered teams, passionate about supporting people with disabilities to live the way they choose.

High Support Specialist - Site Leader

Are you an innovative leader in providing excellent high support to adults with disabilities? Do you value empowering clients to express themselves creatively through art? Believe in the importance of any level of independence that they want to work towards?

We are searching for a passionate high support Site Leader with experience in developing programs, leading a team and collaborating with clients and families to ensure the absolute best support is provided.

Our state of the art high support facility at Potter St Dandenong is looking for its next High Support Leader to oversee a team of 30+ clients and staff. We are extremely proud of this division and have pushed the boundaries with what is possible by providing many out and about activities as well as creative internal programs such as Arm Chair travel featured on the video in this advertisement.

You’ll need to thrive in a busy, fast paced environment, have fantastic interpersonal skills and love collaborating with other divisions to create exceptional client experiences.

You must have excellent administration and computer skills and the ability to work both autonomously as well as collaboratively with management and other Wallara divisions.
