Senior Support Coach/Worker - Accommodation

We currently have a fantastic opportunity in our Accommodation Division based in Dandenong for a part time Senior Support Coach. You will be providing support to the Support Lead to ensure smooth day to day running of the site and provide leadership to your team. You will be joining a great team, passionate about supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals, participate in activities and programs of their choice, both at Wallara and within the community.

If you are passionate about providing quality support services, proactive and have excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you!

Please note, the roles in our Accommodation division include mornings, afternoons, weekends, nights (sleep over shifts) and public holidays - you must be available to work these shifts to be considered for this role.

Job Coach - Disability Services

We currently have an exciting full time opportunity in our Supported Employment Division. The employment division covers supported work in warehousing, production, hospitality, administration and commercial gardening & outdoor maintenance. The successful person will have work experience in any one of these areas. A key function of the role will be working alongside people with a disability, engaging in work activities, providing support and helping them improve their skills and knowledge, while building their independence. You will be working with individual supported employees as well as small groups of up to 6 people, to help them achieve their goals. The role is based in Keysborough.

Senior Support Coach/Worker - Community

We currently have a fantastic opportunity in our Community Division based in Pakenham for a full time Senior Support Coach. You will be providing support to the Support Lead to ensure smooth day to day running of the site and provide leadership to your team. As the senior support coach you will also provide and support clients with complex care and oversee the team support to those clients.

Crew Leader (Gardener/Job Coach)

We are looking for a passionate gardener/horticulturalist to lead and facilitate our Grassbusters program located in Dandenong.

Grassbusters is an entry level garden maintenance and training program for adults with disabilities who are interested in learning horticulture/gardening and work skills. From basic gardening skills to Certificate II level this group works on small to medium garden projects and learns new skills, works as a team and connects with their community.

This is a full time position and you will have a different crew, of approximately 3 people each day, all with different abilities and a desire to learn new skills.

If you’re proactive, have a calm and flexible approach, have a passion for gardening and horticulture and are keen to share your expertise and support people with disabilities reach their goals, we would love to hear from you!
