Important COVID Update Effective Thursday 18th Feb

Dear clients and families

Today Premier Daniel Andrews has announced that the 5-day circuit-breaker lockdown has ended
and from midnight tonight, we will return to the previous restrictions that were in place.
Accordingly, we are excited to announce that Day Services will reopen tomorrow – Thursday 18th
February 2021. The dedicated staff will be eagerly awaiting your return. The same safety measures
including regular hand sanitising, use of PPE, temperature checking and signing in will happen on
arrival.

For those of you using our Wallara Online classes, you can continue to book in for any sessions that
you would like to attend remotely.

Throughout the pandemic we have made decisions based on the safety, wellbeing and engagement
of our clients and staff. We very much want to minimise the chance of anyone in our service
catching the coronavirus. Our staff will continue to wear surgical masks when supporting clients in
all our services, and clients are encouraged to also wear masks in line with the DHHS directions,
unless you have an exemption.

In Accommodation, residents will return to their usual services or supported employment as they
were before the circuit-breaker lockdown this week. DHHS have said that one family member /
natural support person may visit a resident per day; houses need to co-ordinate these visits to
ensure that no more than 5 people visit per day so please call us to arrange a time that suits you.

Wallara Logistics continues to be open as an essential service, and we look forward to having our
supported employees who reside in supported accommodation back at work tomorrow.

Will be great to get everyone back.

Kind regards,
Phil Hayes-Brown
