Community Day Services are provided to over 200 people from 12 different sites throughout the south east corridor of Melbourne.
Programs are customised to suit each individual’s needs and desires and our service is designed to be flexible and encourage innovation in supporting each person in a way that best suits them.
Our qualified staff provide coaching and mentoring to assist the people we support access a variety of opportunities and experiences available in the community. Support can be provided at home, at a work experience site, at a training facility, a tafe program, in a community based site or out in the community.
For each person a plan of services and support is designed and implemented based on personal goals, current interests and outcomes that will enhance their quality of life.
From developing friendships, to connecting with the community, IT classes, driving lessons, sewing, cooking, community services, dancing… The list goes on and is determined by the people we support, not our staff.
Wallara also offers tailored services to people with complex support needs and people who are nearing retirement age.
